Kickstarter Spotlight: The Pantheon Project

kickstarter-logoWith the explosion of Kickstarter projects amongst the comic book community, I have developed an immense curiosity about what is out there. I thought I’d take time to dedicate this particular post to highlight the Pantheon Project’s Kickstarter! The creators, Erik Taylor, Leila Del Duca, and Kevin Caron, don’t boast the big names we’ve been accustomed to seeing promoting their stuff via Twitterverse. Still, the quality of art and potential of story have just as much of a chance at success as anything I’ve seen. Take a gander at the promotional video for the Pantheon Project’s Kickstarter, and consider pledging your support!

I like how this story connects with everyone’s childhood and prides itself on telling a story that isn’t just about people with powers beating each other to a pulp. The pitch immediately takes me back to my early days…who hasn’t pretended they had super powers as a kid? One of the things that really stands out to me is the artwork. Leila Del Duca’s pencils are stunning. I would seriously give this a look based on that alone!

So, if you’re interested in seeing what this is all about, pay the Pantheon Project’s Kickstarter page a visit. Don’t forget to check out all of the super sweet pledge awards available in the right column! If you’re interested in seeing more artwork from the series then I encourage you to visit the Pantheon Project’s Facebook page as well! The Kickstarter for this project only has a few days left, so get out there and Kickstart this project before it’s too late!
