So here we go with Episode #17 where Matt and Neil get right into the news and give their thoughts on the strange rumor of Justin Bieber getting a tryout to play Robin. Are the guys for it or against it? Take a wild guess. Next they touch a bit on the casting of the Flash for the Arrow series Season 2. The comic swap returns again with Neil reading Archer and Armstrong #1 written by Fred Van Lente and drawn by Clayton Henry as Matt’s pick. Neil admits to really liking this and is now realizing he may have some Valiant to add to his already large pull list soon. Next up Matt reads X-Men #5 which continues the Battle of the Atom story and is the third part of this event from Marvel Comics. While Matt enjoys Brian Wood’s take on the X-Men characters and is generally pleased with David Lopez’s art, he is still weary of the constant in-fighting between all the X-men. Special feature involves more DC Comics talk and what is going wrong with that company right now. Both Neil and Matt do admit that DC has in large done some very important things for comics with the new 52 launched 2 years ago. However, there are certain things going on they must speak on.
