Three is the magic Number! This episode Matt digs into some TMNT from IDW (Neil’s pick). They both really like the new back story given to Casey Jones in this Micro-Series #6. Costa, Epstein, and Henderson are the creative team in charge of this outstanding read. Highly recommended. Second on the review list is X-Treme X-Men #1 from Marvel Comics. Greg Pak takes us on another strange multi-dimensional journey that both Matt and Neil enjoy. The Art is done by Stephen Segovia with beautiful bright colors by Jessica Kholinne. For the Special Feature Matt and Neil break down a large list of trades that they probably should have read by now, but haven’t.

Such a great show, guys!
I’ve wanted to read the Turtles stuff from IDW but have never had the time. After your reviews, I’m gonna put this on my pull list.
Can’t wait for the next show!
Great show as always!!!
On the topic of Preacher, I know you both mentioned the religious aspect and the personal involvement, but to put it simply Preacher does not insult or condemn beliefs any more than Swamp Thing or Hellblazer. Granted there are many shots at religion (specially Catholicism) but the premise of the series is that God is in fact real. (Neil I’ll you both borrow my copy of the first trade if ever inclined).
Thanks again for the great show!! I especially love to listen on Wednesday afternoon right before picking up my books.
Great show, gentlemen! Keep it up. Now I have to weed out my pull list for Turtles some Marvel Now stuff.
I concur, the TMNT stuff has been stellar! The Casey Jones micro issue just may be my favorite issue of the year!
Thanks for all the feedback!
Aaron – I’ll be sure to give Preacher a shot, thanks for the info.
Matt – Comixology has some free TMNT issues to get you started. That’s how I’ve sort of gotten into them. I too need to find room on my list.
Did you know that 2000 AD has been an ongoing series since 1977? It’s currently at around issue 1801!
We catalogue it here: http://www.stashmycomics.com/searchresults.asp?currentPrePage=100&whichview=list&viewVariant=show&viewTP=show&offset=1800&viewperpage=100&seriesid=28744
I want to thank everyone for listening and Matt and I are very happy that you are enjoying. We have fun making them so we will keep em coming. Tell your friends!
Right on, Neil. Your comics knowledge is pretty sweet! Keep up the good work, both of you!
