Comic Book News: Matt talks about the “Summer of Valiant” and Steven chimes in revealing Archer and Armstrong as Valiant’s fourth book announced.
(7:00) Steven talks about Shazam’s new outfit. Matt and Steven both like the new darker Shazam with a hoodie.

(9:30) Matt discusses Marvel’s Avengers Assemble #1 that should be the perfect jumping on point for those new to the Avengers.

(12:00) Steven brings up the passing of artist Ralph McQuarrie and we discuss his importance to Star Wars in general.

(15:00) Matt reviews Age of Apocalypse #1 by Marvel. We go a little in to the history of the event that this book relies on and then talk about some basic plot points.

(22:00) Steven reviews his first Moonstone book Zombies vs. Cheerleaders and likes it! A great indy horror book with multiple stories in one issue.
(29:15) We do a special segment called Steven Goes to a Con! He talks about The Great Lakes Comic Expo and the cool drawings he got courtesy of William Messner-Loebs and Keith Pollard.
