Also, I recently read several books by Janusz Zajdel, but I don't think they were translated into English, which is a shame, 'cause Zajdel was like George Orwell of science fiction. Yep, Wikipedia confirms. No English translations as of today. |

Moderator Group![]() ![]() Joined: 14 April 2011 | I'm finishing Sojourn, by RA Salvatore. It's the third book
(chronologically) in his Legend of Drizzt series. I'm a fan, and I just got the next three books in... along with the Way of Shadows trilogy. /That/ is pretty much awesomeness. Can't wait to start on the second book of it. I started becoming something of a fantasy nut this last semester. __________________ -Kenny DCUO (PS3) Villains: Rocco Bennett, Captain Ampere, KendrikTheRed, Chillaxis Game stream: www.Twitch.TV/KendrikTheRed Blog: www.KennyYeager.com |

hit list. :O Edit: Turns out my library has it. I'll save the cash for comic/TPB purchases and get it sooner this way. It's a win-win! haha Edited by kennyyeager - 31 December 2011 at 7:31pm __________________ -Kenny DCUO (PS3) Villains: Rocco Bennett, Captain Ampere, KendrikTheRed, Chillaxis Game stream: www.Twitch.TV/KendrikTheRed Blog: www.KennyYeager.com |

nights, so I've been reading The Rise and Fall of the Nephilim by Scott Roberts in preparation for that. It actually ended up being a pretty interesting read and moved very well. |

Moderator Group![]() ![]() Joined: 04 February 2011 | I...I'm not sure. It's the latest in Jack Campbell's long-running Lost Fleet series, but I have no idea what the title is. All the characters are one-note, the plot has nary a twist in sight, but he writes some of the best and (presumably) most realistic space combat action sequences around. Just finished up And the Sea Will Tell, a true crime story about two couples that sailed off to a deserted island in the south Pacific and only one returned. Good reading! |

I'm currently starting a book about comics (lame, I know). It's called "Men of Tomorrow: Geeks, Gangsters and the Birth of the Comic Book". It won an Eisner, so I imagine it has to be pretty good.

Have you tried "The Ten Cent plague"? Very good book! I reviewed it a little a while back: http://www.stashmycomics.com/blog/index.php/2011/04/flash-10 - wonder-woman-609-green-lantern-64-blue-estate-1-and-the-ten- cent- plague-review-capsules/ __________________ ![]() |
