We’ve seen silhouettes, meaningless reveals and downright ridiculous ideas. Image just sat in their corner quietly, waiting for the right moment to outclass its competitors yet again with one of the smartest ad campaigns in comics in a while. The “Are You Experienced” look to prop up their name talent without alienating any of the talent. It does so by focusing on the skills the creators have, and only hints at their clout. This is yet another step in the right direction or Image. Their brand stands increasingly for more than comics. Now Image plants their flag in a piece of your mental real estate devoted to creativity. Check out the first “poster” for this campaign.
