Not much been added lately down to 3 titles now that Superior Iron man is ending . All Images , East of West , Lazarus and Saga . Once they get cancelled will more than
likely stop collecting . May concentrate on getting a few decent statues of Iron man . Awesome collection Scott congrads on breaking 100k . Ps just sold all my Conan Mags so totals
dropped since last post .

Still have about 60 Long Boxes in my Garage I'm sorting through, Nice to see other people collections though :)

Although I beg to differ on some of the prices here I find Comicsmv.com and Go Collect to pull more accurate pricing on older Silver Age Books in comparison to CGC and price recently sold for etc. Where does this sight get its info from. This Sight is great though for what it is !

JWise, the site uses common Overstreet pricing. However, any member can change the prices so many of the prices are not 100% accurate. This goes both ways though as many books are listed over-priced and many others are under-priced. This is a great cataloging website, and I really enjoy it. I wouldn't judge your collection value based solely on a stash total from here though.

jonervin is spot on, the prices often move when somebody decides his/her comic should be worth more. Always try to put in the correct price please, as it will screw up EVERYBODY's totals. Spent alot of time fixing writers/artists info lately, lots
of errors needing corrected as this can also be altered by anyone. Cover artists seem to be getting put into interior artists section way too much.

Very impressive Scott , Over a hundred thousand wow . My totals are no were near as impressive as yours but here they are .
Comics stashed 1803
News Value 3283.98 USD
You paid     3260.12 USD
Current Value 15199.32 USD
I paid is a little high cause a lot of my stuff I got for 50 % or more off of cover price . So hopefully when I sell will bring a break even or small profit . I figured I am at a $
1.16 a book right now . But my monthly pick ups of 5 title's are $ 18.46 USD . So that will increase my average over time.

Comics: 2548
Current Value: $112,670.65

I guessed a lot on how much I originally paid for many of my stash since I hit garage sales and estate sale, so I didn't list that number.

Plus, I admit I could be wrong on some of the conditions. But I have many Silver age comics [X-Men #1, Spider-Man #13, 3 separate Silver Surfer #1s and many more], the current value may be a little high, but not extraordinarily so. I'm in my 50's and have been collecting since Junior HS.

20% of my collection is 80% of the value.

My Public Wish List

I still have a huge bulk of my collection to add to my stash so I'll wait until my total issues is closer to what I actually have. As for the prices, well it has been a few years since I've gotten
any new comics. Many of my 1970s and 80s issues I bought way back when for cover price, others I bought a few years later for anything from just a few cents to maybe something in the
$20 range. I don't think I have spent more than that on a single issue. Needless to say that part of the database I tend to ignore.

My Public Stash

Just added my collection:

Comics Stashed: 1,238
Newsstand Value $406
Current Value: $34,902

Bought all this stuff in the 1970s as a teenager -- about 80% are 1970s books bought new, about 20% are 1960s books bought used. At the time, I graded each comic, put it in a plastic bag (no
cardboard), stored in wooden boxes in various basements the past 40+ years. Not sure whether the grades I assigned back in the 1970s was accurate or how much each comic may have deteriorated since
-- guessing my grades are inflated and my collection's "value" is grossly overstated.

My wife says it's time to clear out the basement, so my 19-year old and I am now trying to figure out how to slowly sell off the collection, and whether to send some of the more valuable books out for CGC
grades.

My Public Wish List

I have most of my collection up there now except for my Aus Phantoms as most of the series hasn't been added to the site yet, approximately another ~100 or so to go on those although it has been fun trying to find all the information on the Frew Comic
series. Most of my collection are either from the mid 80s to mid 90s (when I was collecting as a kid), from around 2006 onwards (when I finally had a good full-time job) or are bronze/silver age marvel (because.. marvel?) :)

Cheers,

Pete
