My Wolverine trifecta is complete. I started with Hulk #181 back in 1989, purchased for $120. #180 came last year. #180 and #182 were at market value, which I'm happy with since they're much cheaper than one they bookend, and always seem to go
up.

I just picked up a couple of comics . Tales of Suspense issue 96 and 99 in readable condition complete and covers attached . For the pricey sum of 6 bucks CDN . I think this
might just be the next series I start to collect .

Nice pick ups guys. It's been a quiet year for acquisitions so far. I have 3 shows coming up between now and April 1 though, the first being the last Sunday of
February, so I expect I will be picking up some stuff here soon.

Are you considering the Starr the Slayer story by Thomas & Smith as the first appearance of Conan?

Even if it is the first Marvel appearance (and I don't consider it so, a try out for a sword & sorcery strip sure, but not the first Marvel Conan), there is all the Mexican
Conan comics of the 1950s that predate the Marvel stuff as first appearance of Conan in comics by a long shot....

it is a great book though.

Yes I was considering this his first appearance in Marvel just cause the way the price guide describes it . But I agree for sure not his first appearance in the comic world . I
have been watching for a copy of the Mexican since you first mentioned it to me awhile back .   That is a awesome cover for sure .
