I was recently submitted a DC Universe variant for Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight that has a DC Universe logo where the UPC would usually be. I figured off hand that it was the Direct Edition variant to our usual
Newsstand ones. This is not the case, it is actually a much rarer variant that can be found in multi packs. I am attaching a website that has a known list - http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?
ubb=showflat&Number=8272692 . May want to take a look at your collections to see if you own one of these.

Thought I would put this out there for those that did not know about this type of variant.

I've researched these variants before. Real good stuff.

In The Eighties (Yes, I'm An Old Fart), DC Often Sold Batman And Superman Multi-Packs And These Comics Didn't Have The Value Of 1st Print Newsstand Or Direct Editions. Check The Prices Of Batman Comics Around The 400's And Notice The Low Prices. Some Of Them Have Sixth Or Seventh Prints.
