I was looking for an online database to store my
collection. This site is great. I have been recommending it
to others.

Came across this site just looking for an easy to use database. I used another site in the past, but then they started charging and that was all for me...

Love the site so far, damn easy to use. Looking forward to adding my collection!

Well I bought few comics few months ago and then only read
couple and thought maybe comics wasn't for me. Then I just
happen to read the scarlet spider copies I had bought and
realized it wasn't comics that didn't interest me just not
the ones I had read. I read first few issues of scarlet
spider and loved it. I haven't had a chance to pick up
anymore issues but wanted to find a database to log what I
got and googled databases for comics and here I am. Great
site love it.

I googled it also. I had begun using a excel spreadsheet and then decided to look for something better. And so I'm here...

I found it off of Google. This site is awesome! I love the setup and all the info. I'm getting all my comic collecting friends on here and posted it to my FB account.

For trading, nothing beats sending a link directly to my Wishlist so people know what I need and my girlfriend can even use it to shop for stuff for my birthday or Christmas.

Great job to the Stash my Comics staff!!!

I've been wanting to database my comics for quite awhile, I actually started cataloguing my collection on a different site. Once I hit 50 comics I had to subscribe, being the cheap Yorkshire Man I am I
started trying to look for other sites that offer the same service via google; all the ones I could find charged money for it.

I ended up posting on my Facebook: "Wanting to track my comic collection online, but it seems most places charge to do that. FU."

A friend linked me this place in my comments, so here I am!

And if the chance ever arises I'll recommend this place to other people!

Avid reader when I was younger. Have several long boxes of uncataloged comics. I've searched for a long time and stumbled across this site
tonight. Very impressed with the ease of adding comics. I only came across one comic I had in my collection that was not already in the database.
I submitted it for addition into the database...also very easy.

Recently (couple months ago) got back into reading comics. I'm so lost with all the new characters and Marvel's relaunch. Really love the blog
"Comics for Noobs". I've read both the Nov and Dec submissions. This really helped me frame what my next purchases will be when I return to my
local comic store tomorrow.

Sorry for the long rant, but I really love what you guys offer - free cataloging, blogs, forums, podcasts, etc. Thank you!

I found StashMyComics via Google.

I was looking for a free comic book cataloging system that would let me catalog and view my comic collection from my desktop
Windows computer and Android device, and export/import my data.

With StashMyComics, I found that I really didn't need a separate Android app.

So far, StashMyComics has been a great solution for me!

Thanks!

Google. I researched about 5 different sites. Free was a big seller, less because it wouldn't cost me, more because I felt like Stash wasn't JUST about mining ME for cash. I don't mind paying for a site like this, but the idea of entering thousands of issues and then having an ongoing, sometimes substantial)
maintenance cost was less-than-optimal.

It's a great site, does exactly what I want it to and has a terrific community.

I found out about this site while searching through the local gumtree (our version of craigslist), for people selling comics, and one person told me to go here to check out his collection and the
rest is just as follows; Disbelief-Amazed-Super Excited-I have found my people.

It's a GREAT name... I was gonna called you BGN for short, but that would be pronounced 'Baggin' and that's even more awkward?

Like your pic too: very Kate Bush!

You a Sydney sider or somewhere less important?

Edit: just read this back and thought it may read as a little creepy... and even though I AM a little creepy, that was not my intention!

Haha, thank you, I don't mind BGN :) James calls me by that, I'm actually an Adelaidian for the next 2 months, then moving to California :)

And I certainly don't mind 'creepy' :)

I found the site because I was searching google for printable checklists of Comic Series. It was a very roundabout way of getting here, buried a few pages in because of the search
parameters, and I had been expecting a very different experience. My boyfriend had been using a different catalog site for awhile, and after a month was locked out of his list unless he started paying
(Which we finally found in the VERY FINE print and buried pages in.) Then he went to comicpriceguide, without realizing that he's have to pay to track more than 100 titles. (I may have the site wrong,
but that was the experience.)

I think it took me about three hours of looking EVERYWHERE on this page until I finally believed that it was really free, and have been trying to get him hooked ever since. Unfortunately, he's become
disillusioned with the experience, but I can't come home from the comic book store without coming to this site, often before the snow covered coat even comes off. ^_^ I especially love that the site is
android friendly, so I can just take my tablet to the store and save the printer ink when it comes to the checklists.

My name is Snarkey, and I'm a Stashaholic o_O

Also, Sign me up for the "The handle is awesome club," BallGaggedNun!

Wait, I'm confused, what hand is awesome? o.o

I was looking for a site that allowed you to organize your comics for free (I am sort of a nut when it comes to organization and I also love Cataloguing
stuff)so I typed into a search engine Comic book database and poof this site popped up. I was super excited it was the best one I found and it also
included Manga's which I have tons of as well as figurines. Best site I found so far passed it along to all my collector friends.

I saw one of my followers on Instagram mention this place in a comment he made to another one of his friends. So I decided to check this place out. I'm glad I did. It gave me an idea of the value and scape of my collection. It also helped me change how I collect.
