THE DEVIL IS REBORN. RENEWED. RESSURECTED. With new enemies, new friends and that same old "grinnin' in the face of hell" attitude, the Man Without Fear is back and leading with his face! Mark Waid (AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, Irredeemable, RUSE) joins neo-legendary artists Paolo Rivera and Marcos Martin for a new, Eisner Award-winning spin on Daredevil that will leave you gasping for air. Having turned his world upside over the past several years, Matt Murdock realizes justice may not be blind to his past - and villains may not be the only ones looking for answers. Klaw, master of sound. The Megacrime cartel. Mole Man. The Black Cat. Bring it on! If Matt Murdock could see what he was doing...he'd be terrified.

Started off engaging AF, fighting the Spot & showing Matt's powers in fun new ways. The art is fun and blows away expectations for the first few issues. Makes me curious where Waid is going with the gritty DD being somewhat more light after demonic possession. Some good moments of humor, like where DD & a Spider-flame hook up and Pete's seeing this and displeased. The fight between DD & another hero earlier in the arc is fun & filled me with nostalgia of why I fell in love with these characters, but this does not last, as clever as some of the ideas and handling of characters is in Waid's hands. Lots of great moments, but with just OK stories in between, so nothing I need to revisit outside maybe the first three issues.
