An excellent start that captures the mood of a Howard Conan yarn, but BWS is still finding his stride as an artist and some of the figures are stiff and awkward, and the panel to panel storytelling and continuity has some flaws in it. Some of it is beautiful though. Thomas is on the right track but still experimenting with how to translate the visceral Howard content to a code approved comic and some of the sequences feel a bit off. Still all in all a solid foundation to build form.
