The Golden Child
Read 2020: Part of some larger storyline, this Golden Child is a mutant with a killer power and pawn in a plot of an Evil Tony Stark's plan to return to his dimension, knowing Titatnus is coming to kill so many Marvel heroes. Peter Parker is a high school science teacher at the time and apparently the most annoying of mainstream superheroes the media hates and other heroes tolerate or tune out. Spidey teams with Wolverine, X-23, Dr. Strange, Captain America, and Black Widow, and the F4 show up too, fighting Doom/Stark. The writing seems to be mostly moving the story forward as this Titanus will be the lead villain, who beats Sunfire to a pulp. I suppose we learn how the MU heroes feel about Spidey and alternate Stark is defeated. Meh.
