Surprisingly creepy for an X-Men related title, this issue manages to set an atmosphere of dread immediately. It's as if the good natured member of the X-Men and Excalibur was made the protagonist of a horror story. And it works. Although someone expecting the swashbuckling Nightcrawler might be taken aback.
