Some knowledge of Solar backstory is necessary here. The first 10 pages or so were decent, really dug the Dr. Eclipse stuff. Dr. Eclipse battle with Solar was rad too, he ate Solar's hand!! The art is stiff like a lot of old Valiant and a big portion of the issue is recruiting characters for the "secret weapons" team, which got a little boring.
