Ben “The Thing” Grimm has come into a ton of money. We’re talking billions here. Now, the ever lovin’ Blue Eyed Thing is the toast of the town- he’s got a hot girlfriend, hundreds of fans, a social butterfly to the crème de la cream, and totally alone. He’s got no Alicia and the Yancy Street gang thinks he’s lost his roots. On top of that, the Thing’s been kidnapped to Arcade’s secret island of death, he’s the new owner of an In-human dog, and is responsible for the Venus De Milo losing her arms. This book is a laugh riot. But, it’s got pathos. There’s lots of great moments. Plus, the cover to issue 8 doubles as one of my all-time favorite tees, "Super Heroes Playing Poker."
