You cannot go wrong with a Capt/SHIELD title. And when these collected tales from the early 70’s focus on the high-tech spy game, it is top notch. Even the Afterschool Special attitude involving the race barrier of Capt. and Falcon, it’s very compelling, just with very corny dialogue. True, this was Marvel’s answer to DC’s Green Lantern/ Green Arrow title’s version of the relevant comic. But the soap opera love stories, while in attempt to shadow James Bond, is sappy sweet and would have made a great parody- if only it was conceived as such. Worth Consuming- but diabetics be alert- to much syrup is bad for you- and these love story-like elements are pure Karo!
