Personally, I found the early portion of the book a bit heavy in the use of talking heads, but once a little steam was built up, I couldn't put this book down. That said, I confess that I find Miller as a writer more impressive than Miller as a penciler. I can't say that I'm a huge fan of Batman himself, even here, but I still found Dark Knight Returns to be a great read and definitely belonging in my collection.
awesome storyline but i didnt like the smaller panels artwork was still amazing
I know it's a seminal book, but I think it's overrated.
