Even if this wasn't the first appearance of the "New" X-Men team, this would still be a '10' in my opinion. The story is top-notch, and the art is very nice. I've sold just about all of my other Uncanny X-Men books, but this is one that I plan to keep for a very long time. If you are on a budget, it's been reprinted many times, so you won't go broke to read the story.
One of the most important X-Men (and Marvel) comics. Introduction of many new great characters. Art and writing are all very well done. Despite already knowing the nature of Krakoa before I read this I was still enticed. An excellent start of a new page in the history of the X-Men.
one of the best xmen books ever i rember reading this book over and over again when i was about 8 years old.i thought it was just the greatest thing ever loved wolverine nightcrawler the iland monster being a parasite to me blew me away incredble comic book was one of the main reasons i started collecting comic books. simply a classic comic.
