I'm not a die hard Captain America fan and I haven't collected him previously. My interest however was piqued when I heard about the controversy. This lead off issue delivers what I expect from a #1. Solid art, action, and a sense that something huge is going to happen. Steve Rogers' youth was miraculously restored a month prior allowing him to take on the mantle of Captain America once again. (He is of currently sharing the name with Sam Wilson, a.k.a. Falcon). Cap is sporting a new, upgraded shield and oh yeah, shockingly, on the last page he says the words, "Hail Hydra". I'm still missing his little wings just above the ears but in any case, the series should be a good one.
