Story not great, art not the greatest either. But like him or not, the story introduces probably the most iconic character of the modern era, Deadpool. I also don't hate Rob Liefeld's art like many do, I like his stuff. I like comic art with distinctive style and he has that. I don't like comic art that is photorealistic, I like crazy and over the top art. I guess I'm a Liefeld fan. -D'oh!
Free digital read from Marvel! This is a prime example of what I dislike about 90s era comics. I'm surprised Deadpool made it past this issue, a pretty pathetic showing! I prefer the earlier New Mutant issues by far.
Story sucked and art was absolutely horrendous. To put it in other words this book is bad. Kicking rocks may actually be more fun than reading this book. I literally felt sick while reading this issue. Only redeeming factor is Deadpool's first appearance.
