Yikes... This just didn't end well at all. It didn't really close any of the subplots but just made them more confusing. Another trick to get you to read eighty other books that tie in with this later. I just wish that this was more contained and had a finite ending rather than Matt Murdock just feeling all bad about himself. They didn't even defeat him but rather, he defeated the evil himself on a personal mental level. There was basically no final battle, it was boring and anti-climactic.
