Cover is by Cockrum, but all interior art is by Byrne. It's a pretty good story, one that I did not see coming, having missed all the previous appearances of this villain in particular. But, one thing I find odd is that Banshee on the cover is shown with red hair. Is that a simple printing error, or was Marvel trying to make us believe it was someone else entirely?
The story in this issue is pretty simple. The X-Men got mind controlled and Beast makes a cameo appearence as he helps to bust them out of it. Although the story is simple the action and interactions are all great. By far the greatest thing about the issue is the pencilling as Byrne delivers some amazing artwork.
