This issue has a nice mix and flow between action and story. The X-Men somehow end up in the savage land and take some time to recuperate. The interactions between the X-Men are all great, especially Cyclops gets a lot of character development. The art is fantastic although I'm starting to notice that often backgrounds are missing, but being a monthly series I can understand. The highlight of the comic is Wolverines excellent sewing skills as he repairs his costume from tatters to pristine condition.
