The X-Men start of fighting Sauron as he has absorbed energy from Storm. The battle is intense and has good pacing. Thanks mostly to Cyclops the X-Men manage to win the fight. The second half of the comic is set up for the rest of the story as Ka-zar tells about the current troubles in the savage land. It's all good though and necessary to understand the coming events. Byrne delivers great art again. Another good issue to continue an excellent run.
