I've not read Armor Wars, formerly known as Stark Wars yet, just this single issue due to its amazing BWS cover and interior. The issue does not disappoint while also making me wonder if Michelinie was more capable of deeper storytelling than we probably ever got on Amazing Spider-Man. Tony faces an intense inner fear in a nightmare-scape created by his guilt as an inventor who has thrust humankind forward with the inventions spawned from his mind, knowing he can't put the genie back into the bottle after enemies (and supposed allies, as I understand it) had used his his designs and tech to enhance their own. I wonder if elements of Peggy Carter: Agent of SHEILD had been used to a degree with this in mind, and of course Iron Man 2's plot.
