An action-packed Batman comic that gives you a taste of what Batman is facing with a new set of enemies who are as threatening as any the big Batman villains you can think of. You get the sense that the "deadly killer" in the description will be as big as Joker, Ra's al Ghul or Bane, and the best part of this issue is that the story is just starting.
Lots of plot-thickening as a mysterious and possibly super-powered assassin targets Bruce Wayne, and an old legend of Gotham reemerges. In fact, this issue is steeped in Gotham lore, with an excellent opening narrative on the history of Wayne Tower and its 12 (make that 13) gargoyles. The surprise twist that ended the first issue is now twisted again into a new direction. I'm definitely interested in seeing where this is headed.
Better than the first issue! The action was great, the storytelling superb, this issue was fantastic! Greg Capullo and Scott Snyder are making one helluva team on Batman. Out of all the new 52 issues I've read, this is, by far, the best in the relaunch. Amazing! Great! Fantastic! Can I sing it's prasies some more?
I really enjoyed the "Beware the Court of Owls" nursery Rhyme.
