More human story than kaiju story, with some excellent battle footage nonetheless, this short series has been one of the best kaiju comic series that I have read. Artwork is excellent, with characters well differentiated, which is not always the case for a kaiju comic. Story was excellent, throughout. Just like kaiju movies, kaiju comics are at their best when they are human stories with kaiju providing the reason for the interactions and making periodic cool battle performances.
