Opening scenes are a bit jumbled, but it improves once we get back to Clark Kent. Clark gets in some great lines ("You need to be the cop you wanted to be when you were a kid."), while making classic amateur superhero blunders, and questioning his own path in the face of an onslaught of bad press from corrupt media tycoon Glen Glenmorgan. Most awesome detail in this issue? A glimpse inside Clark's perfectly organized sock drawer! Ha!

Rags' pencils are the weakest in his career on this title. Made even more apparent next to Gene Ha's artwork in the opening scene. The script has great ideas and themes but the reading experience dampened by weak artwork.
