The conversations are very clunky and forced. This book is definitely a throwback to old team books. Not much new about this.

I loved this one it is so interesting to see the team working together since they didn't really do that in the second one.

This is where fun lives in the DCU! I smile the whole time I read this book. The dialog is a little clunky in parts "Hey, let's talk about our powers" and "Let's have a completely unrelated conversation so we can wedge some character development in here". But you can't go around the fact that this is good old superhero fun. It's got a bronze age feel to it.
