This was my least favorite issue thus far. The conclusion of the Trench and the mysterious occupants seems to run out of steam. While we get insight into Aquaman's opinion about the occupants I really felt the conclusion left something to be desired. Beautiful art sold me on this issue as the dialogue was weak in parts. However, at some points the art was a tad confusing. With that said this is still extremely enjoyable and the idea of a dying race in a ancient Atlantia ship segways nicely.
I was so excited to read this comic, and now i know why, But AQUADOG really they can do better then that.
Great end to the first story arc. I love how the Trench are portrayed as tragic figures rather than outright villains.
