This book is such a reversal of the creativity that was the Booster Gold series. DC cancelled that to start a JLI series that repeats the forgettable formula of the 1990s? There is nothing special about this...just another book full of explosions, little story, and a villain that could be replaced with hundreds of similar ones that have been forgotten. As a huge fan of Booster Gold, Dan Jurgens, and the JLI of the 80s, this book is a huge disappointment.

I am really enjoying this series and can't wait to see the end.

Thud! This book took a nose dive. It went from pure fun to clunky uninspired ending and wooden dialog. I think I'm dropping this as I fell out of the mood with this issue. I'm vibing more towards comics that are literary at the moment. Not to mention Finch's cover which doesn't do much for me.
