It's fine, it's decent, but I wouldn't seek out the other books, and I'm glad I only paid $2 for this in a discount bin. It's a fast-paced read in which I've discovered John Constantine lite has a substance abuse problem as he fights various ghouls but seems to have a fair relationship with zombies or whatever Mo (AKA Mo'lock) and his people are. It seems I may be missing some connection to an earlier story with this one, but basically some con artist figures out how to bring a demon or Satan's baby into new flesh and then tries to get rich off of it before being discovered by a Catholic priest who hires Cal MacDonald to retrieve the baby. High jinks ensue when a 900-year old Knight Templar is sent to slaughter the child and anyone around.
