Love the layout and artwork in this issue. Also, this an issue that has a few reveals and character developments that make this issue come across as a pivotal turning point between the last arc and the new arc. Great job as often these in between issues can slow the pace down.
I liked the visuals of Aquaman in the desert, and the small-scale character interactions were good. Enjoyable issue, but totally skippable.
I was very excited to see where they were going with the Trench but now there is more to the story and i am so excited to see where it will go.
Who would have guessed that Aquaman standing alone in a trackless expanse of desert under a brilliant blue sky would be the most beautiful comic art to come out this week?
