Exciting and creepy, both with the story and the art. Pretty much a great example of a detective comic. And the conflict between Batman and the Court of Owls is finally escalating. It looks like it will make for a classic comic book story akin to past introductory conflicts with the likes of Ra's al Ghul or Bane.
The entire "Court of Owls" storyline is the best thing to happen to Batman in years.
I am getting so excited about the court of Owls, and i can't wait to see the end.
Usually I don’t care for adding new stuff to an established character’s origin as if it’s been there all along, but I did enjoy the addition of Bruce Wayne, Lil’ Detective. The Greg Capulo art is getting better (or better with me at least, save for how all of his dark-haired characters look the same sans masks) and that last page incorporating the credits into the maze was neat.
A little slower paced than the previous issues, but this builds alot on the story. Batman is getting closer to the answers he's looking for, but the Talon is one-upping him left and right. Gotta get issue #5!
There seems to be a serious lack of balance between dialogue and art. The art does not seem to move the story along requiring to much written explanation.
