I don't quite know how to feel about this series right now. I have liked the relaunce so far but if this is the start of the second wave I don't see myself enjoying it.

This comic makes clear through the whole issue that this is not the same Earth pre-flashpoint or post...this is Earth 2. While the twist and turns in this issue give a good opening to the series the reader is ultimately left wanting to see more from the characters that will ultimately be developed. Beatiful art and a desire to see where the writer will take us make this book a point of interest for me. With that said it is clear this series intends to develop a little more slowly than most.

A world without the Trinity... Can it be?! I like this. A DC world that doesn't focus just on the three major characters. I think this is going to give other characters that normally wouldn't get a spotlight on Earth 1 a chance to be something awesome here. Lots of history here, and it's just waiting to be told. Can't wait for issue 2!

Not really good. All that they do is take the story form Justice League and change the end. Not original or well written. It is a waste of an issue. Basically the characters they introduce are all gone making anything that happened in this issue pointless .

This was just "Meh" to me, read like an "Elseworlds" story to me, nothing really interesting, so yes a world where the "Big three" are dead and two of their sidekicks are gone. Someone said "deep characterization" - yes of characters that died or who go to a different book. Litterally just established that "this happened", tiny hint of what is to come - Not gettin issue 2

big disapointment, I can't believe they killed the big three the first issue. Sad!

Absolutely loved this! Earth 2 is firmly established as its own unique world, complete with the weight of history and deep characterization that's only hinted at here. This issue should certainly silence some critics and lay some fears to rest. Here's hoping #2 continues to deliver.

This is the best of the DC reboot comics I've read so far(and I have all of them). They hit the gas hard in an unexpected direction and didn't pull any punches. This fast paced first issue gives a new twist to some classic characters and I think it works well(I know some people won't agree). My only worry is that future issues won't live up to this start but we will only know this in the months to come. Over all I have to say I highly recommend that anyone who enjoys DC comics picks this one up.

Although there's a shameless use of the big 3, I applaud the team for not using them as a crutch (you'll see what I mean if you read it). The rest of the Earth 2 cast appear to be getting a younger makeover, which I think makes sense. I don't think this will win everyone over, but I'm happy with it.
