Meh. Out of all the "Before Watchmen" series so far, the 2 I've remembered longer than a day have been "Silk Spectre" and "The Comedian". So far, Silk Spectre has been my favorite. I don't remember anything about Minuteman, and I barely remember Nite Owl and I just picked it up last week. The retirement and passing of the torch were just okay. It could've been much more exciting. Here's hoping these second issues will be better. If they don't a better job with Rorschach, I might not be buying.

Not a bad story and not a great story. Ultimately this story felt rushed. It also runs along similar lines as a Batman & Robin comic. Parts of it were interesting and gave some insight into the two characters that are Nite Owl. My hope is that this issue is trying to cram a lot in so that the 3 remaining issues can flourish. The art was good, however this issue so far had the most modern art which isn't bad, but it isn't in the Watchmen style like the others.
