The frames flowed well into each other, the artwork is good, managing to capture the real essence of what was happening at the time; the script and dialogue help a lot with that as well. The story line although in its early days looks as though it could be a promising read. I won't try give away what happens but it seems as though it's going to be a time travel/high sci-fi arc. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to start a new title; who is looking for these sorts of things in them!
This didn't give me the magic vibe that the new FF gave, and I felt like I missed something. So, not a true "1st issue" in the overall story sense. Still interested in future issues though.
