These two excerpts are too brief and too chaotic for my brain to get into let alone appreciate. If the idea was to lure in new readers and folks who were not already watching any potential anime that exist of these, then I think it's a fail. With the My Hero excerpt, I do sort of think I get what the world is about and what the motivation of the one antagonist is, but it wasn't compelling enough to draw me in. With the Rwby story, there are too many characters without clear backstories to get me to understand the basic premise of the series. I'm out.
