I generally dig Deodato's art--it's often fierce and atmospheric in a brooding way that serves many of the stories he's penciled in the past decade plus, definitely more fitting than perhaps his mid-1990s Avengers run. The story has me intrigued about what's going on with Earth's reality and what's going on with those pesky Infinity Stones that just can't seem to stay gone. Various characters, sometimes so unexpected, each carry a stone. Loki fights Wolverine for an attempt at one such stone and it's amusing. There are Darkhawks and Nova Corps members and Guardians of the Galaxy, making this seem like the mini-series and tie-ins might be good, engaging sci-fi comics, hopefully as good as much of Annihilation was.
