An almost perfect Damian Wayne story. That is if you prefer Damian as a full-fledged superhero like his father and far removed from the personality drilled into him by the League of Assassins. This issue represents a full turnaround for Damian, from kill machine ninja to the more heroic son of Batman.

Here's something surprising: A Damian Wayne story that I actually liked. Not everything here worked. The villain in the Gotham-based subplot felt thrown-together. And some attempted comedy in the ending sequence fell a bit flat. But overall, this was a good story about the growth of trust between Damian and Bruce in a situation that was not life-or-death.
