Let me tell you a quick "about myself" so you know where this review comes from. For years I had all but avoided the X-Men, and pretty much all 'team' comics in general. Then, about a year a go, I caught the "X-Men Bug", and had to add them on to my collection. So my X-Men reviews are from not a die-hard X-fan-boy, so I have no allegiance, thus, I feel like I can speak exactly for my thoughts on these books. So, without further ado, let me say that I really enjoyed this issue. Having just read a couple of "What If..." (Vol. 1) issues that dealt with Namor, I felt pretty 'plugged in' with him. I thought it was just another great Lee/Kirby issue. Does anyone get a kick out of how many exclamation points there are in these old issues? :)
