The firstpart of the issue is great as the X-Men prepare for the return of Phoenix, each in their own way. They all have their own doubt and demons to face. There is great suspense throughout the issue. When Phoenix returns the X-Men battle her again, managing to contain her by the narrowest of margins. Both the art and writing in this issue are well done, certainly one of my favorites.
