The X-Men are teleported to the Shi'ar throne world where Phoenix has to answer for her actions. The best part of the issue is the X-Men individually questioning themselves whether defending Jean really is the right thing to do. They each have their own reasons and motivations. It shows they are a group of great individual characters. The battle that follows is great. It's nice to see so many X-Men in action at once. Plus there some fun moments, like when Wolverine stumbles into the Watchers residence by accident. The ending of the issue is amazing and is rightfully an iconic moment in comics. Definitely the best X-Men comic thus far. And given the quality of previous issues that's saying a lot.
