Love, love, love, Olivier Coipel's artwork! It was a nice surprise to see him on the book. I'd like him to stay a while but I figure Cassaday will probably be back, which I'm okay with because his artwork is solid too. Remender always writes a great story. I'm happy to see him start bringing in the much talked about links to his former work on Uncanny X-Force. That was a big marketing piece in the months before the launch of this book. That series was fantastic for the most part and I'm excited to see where he goes from here. The Grim Reaper is a horrible villian, just saying, however with the events of this issue that might not be a problem anymore. Great issue, and I'm beginning to see the the real potential in this series take shape.
Uncanny Avengers #5! This is why I buy comics the team, the concept of an Avenger Unity teams sounds like such rubbish. Even the members of the team, who would think they would even have enough back story to develop a decent story. Yet here I am at issue five and I simply cannot put down this book. Every character by the time you finish the book makes perfect sense. Alex, as a leader we have never seen him written so well sense…. Well ever! Including the Janet and Simon into this train wreck was an amazing stroke of genius.
