Snyder and Jim Lee on this story is superb. The cover art is awesome. Page 5 and 6 are posters sized art. Was worried about damaging the pages to see the story unfold. Lex is in prison and up to something diabolical and how long will he be in prison. The real Superman been working for the United States for nearly seventy-five years. Not sure what that is about but will see as the story unfolds.
Its been years since I read a Superman title and was drawn over by Snyder as the writer. I liked this issue a lot. The dialog was excellent and I'm interested to see where they are going with the story. That four panel fold-out page was kind of cool but otherwise seemed unnecessary and felt as if I was about to tear it apart.
I enjoyed reading a smart Superman/Clark, and overall the story had me into it. Not sure about the reveal at the end, but the regular cast was a highlight for me.
