This is probably the best villain story so far in the series as Karai is one of the most legendary of the Turtles' foes. The book details the upbringing and motivation behind her ideology and the growing fracture between her and her grandfather, The Shredder. The story displays her strength and brilliance at a young age and why she is a deadly enemy. Most of these micro-series have shown the growing seeds of discord amongst the villains of the series which will inevitably be their downfall, and the Turtles' sense of family which is their greatest strength. Karai has a very interesting character and the author really brings it out in an absolutely mesmerizing read. The artwork, always stellar in the Turtles' series, doesn't slouch either.
