Great 3d cover, but the story well was disappointing. I was expecting more from DC

DC kicked off Villains' Month the right way by kicking it off with Batman's ultimate nemesis, Joker. With arguably the nicest cover of the whole lot and the hype that comes with the character getting an issue to himself,DC was holding a lot of potential in their hands. Unfortunately they missed their mark with this book. While the cover is fantastic, like I said, and the artwork throughout is top notch, the story itself leaves much to be desired. It adds almost nothing to what we know about the character, nor does it add any depth to the Forever Evil storyline like most of the other Villains titles do. As I see it, DC really dropped the ball on this one as they didn't properly give their premiere villain the proper stage with his story.

Disappointing for a Joker story, especially coming after the outstanding Death of the Family crossover storyline. The narrative seems kind of sporadic and the art is cartoony when, as DOTF showed, Joker is best when he's morbid and scary.
