This was the only villains month issue I picked up. Sorrentino continues to hit it out of the park, and Lemire continues to provide serviceable stories that rely on predictable tropes that have been seen over and over again. When Lemire and Sorrentino's run started, it was a breath of fresh air on a title in desperate need of help, but while Sorrentino has continued to bring his A game, Lemire's stories have gotten tired quickly. Looking at Lemire's stuff like Trillium, he is capable of so much more, but he's been wallowing in mediocrity after a fast start on this title.
