This issue fails to make a kill. A man whose been wronged in some way by a brutal gang invents the persona of the Assassin in hopes of bringing the evil cartel down. With force fields that allow him to walk on air and a array of artilery, he’s a poor man’s Punisher. Plus, just about all of the authorities, along with Assassin’s therapist know the guy’s real identity. So, if this gang he’s fight so darn tough, why haven’t they whacked him yet. The book ends with a cliff-hanger, but this paper-thin plot left me unmoved as to wheter the man code named Assassin lived or died. OUCH.
